This is my first attempt at making a solo record, after recording six records with Dumptruck. While the overall sound will be very recognizable to Dumptruck fans, there's a wider palette of instruments and sound, and a slightly mellower feel to the record. Now that this is finally released, Dumptruck co-founder Kirk Swan and I have been back in the studio recording tracks for a new record. We just recorded basic tracks for 15 songs, and hope to have them finished and mixed by the latter part of this year.
